Own global business partnership with Performance Material BU from SCM perspective. Be the supply chain “go-to” person for BU leadership and part of PM BU leadership
Take value leadership to review current supply chain end to end process of PM and make recommendation on transformation strategy, roadmap and own the execution of it as well as continuous improvement
Take value leadership for Key Client SCM related projects and own the relationship with Client’s Supply Chain Lead
Support Business Development on SCM part, on-boarding and exit of clients/ customers
Co-own the CFR performance globally for PM, make recommendation on transformation strategy, roadmap and own the execution of it, as well as continuous improvement
Own the Inbound/ Outbound Forecast and Planning globally for PM, and work with BU team and HSCM of each market to drive continuous improvement
Own the Inventory Planning & Management of PM globally, partnering with HSCM in markets to ensure right control of inventory level holistically
Own and lead the PM Own-Brands’ supply chain in full
Support BU and HSCM in markets to address operational issues when needed

Responsibilities

Lead SCM related interactions with BU, key clients and customers. Ensure that BU, client and customer KPIs & SLAs are understood, measured, and communicated.
Collaboration with the global/country BU heads and functional leaders to deliver the global PM SCM strategy
Leading role to drive continued excellence in 3PL/4PL operations and commercial strategy, leveraging upon solid industry experience and networks in this area
Undertake strategic and operational planning in collaboration with functional direct reporting line with updates to all stakeholders
Guide and support SCM development to achieve goals, remove blockages to progress. Improve practices, standards, systems to reflect best practice, driving continuous improvement to exceed expectations
Undertake budgeting, monitoring, and reporting as required
Actively engage and partner BU teams to support Client and Customer relations. Support Business Development through profitable solution design, deal assessment, new onboarding and exiting of client relationships.
Liaise with relevant functional leads to ensure seamless integrated SCM solutions i.e.: customer services, finance, sales etc
Participate in cross functional projects as required

Requirements

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain function
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial capacity
Experience working in MNC and highly matrixed organizations
Holistic picture of SCM and how to integrate with business
Strategic Visioning capability, and able to translate strategy into actionable roadmap and initiatives
In depth understanding of Supply Chain including managing warehouse operations, KPI’s & cost structures, and understanding how to impact them through cost reduction and business growth levers
Sound understanding of logistics commercial practices
Strong experience and capability in 3rd Party Logistics Provider management and 4PL business models including score cards, quarterly business reviews and corrective action management
Knowledge of transportation sourcing including user requirements, carrier sourcing, Request for Proposal (RFP), carrier selection, contracting & implementation
Demonstrate knowledge in service management including client relations
Knowledge of Warehouse & Transportation Management Systems (ideally SAP)
Adept at reading P&L accounts and driving both revenue streams and cost management.
