About Us

Dyson Global Logistics is looking for an extraordinary Logistics Performance Manager to be strategic contributor to the Global Logistics & Fulfilment team.

The Logistics Performance Lead is a key role in the organization, building standardized scorecards, managing multiple service providers and internal operation teams to bring them up to new standard and analyzing performance and cost metrics.

He / She will work collaboratively with internal and external functional owners to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

As part of the global team, He / She will have to travel when required.

About The Role

Leverage best-practice, and deploys governance, standards & processes that align to the business strategy.
Benchmark internal processes, and develops future capabilities, processes and systems.
Identify gaps in processes and systems to determine their root cause, and applies innovative approaches to streamline process, eliminating or modifying non-value activities.
Work cross-functionally and throughout regions/markets ensuring fast deployment of standardized practices and processes.
Work closely to our Data & Advanced Analytics Lead to structure metrics scorecards.
Monitor global standard KPIs that measure and track logistics performance, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Provide ideas to drive efficiency and effectiveness, improving quality while optimizing cost to serve.
Champion the use of new processes, technology, and standardization.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Effectively and efficiently use strong and structured program management / implementation methods to successfully introduce new practices, processes, or products with a strong focus on benefits management.

Deliverables of the Role

Lead and develop robust measurements and reporting methods that aims to constantly improve productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and reduces cost-to-serve.
Capture, measure and report on the service delivery, data quality and financial performance achieved by each global 3PL providers, Warehouses, Contract Manufacturer, etc.
Lead and drive a performance management cadence (MBR, QBR, etc.) that reviews performance and cost levels both internally and externally.
Build and animate the internal network of key users
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and functional owners to development budgeted solutions and analysis of operations and new initiatives, supporting business case development with financial and performance data, and manages actualised cost reporting to budget.
Develop a gap analysis approach, presenting root cause failures and identifying improvement opportunities hindering service and cost excellence.
Drive E2E Logistics sustainability practices and reporting.
Provide support in the development and management of strategic initiatives.
Support in the preparation and coordination of critical business insights and inputs.

About you

Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to evaluate complex logistics solutions and articulate these in an understandable way.
Knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain, with the ability to understand the importance and interdependencies associated with each stage of the process — Plan, Source, Make, Deliver.
Excellent ability to analyse and report complex suit of datasets to provide meaningful business insights, effectively manage root cause resolution and clearly articulate improvement opportunities.
Strong and agile project management mindset looking towards results

Qualifications And Work Experience

Supply chain degree is desirable.
Operational logistics experience in relevant industries is desirable.
Excellent level of written and spoken English.
Ability to travel.
