About the Team
The Supply Chain Globalization team is looking for a Program Manager to develop and drive logistics and Data Center Hardware End-of-Life programs. This includes the aspects of managing the inbound and outbound logistics of Data Centers, overseeing supplier warehouses, and supporting decommission, retrofit related planning and service migration activities. A hyper-scaled data center comprises a massive hardware demography – product category, original manufacturer, years of warranty, cost, and efficiency. The individual we’re looking for would be a fast learner who is able to grasp critical information, apply best practices, hands-on and devise plans for execution.
Responsibilities
Responsible for supply chain operations in Singapore.
Drive and manage warehouse activities such as inbound, outbound, RMA, transfers within Data Centers and internal warehouse.
Implement physical warehouse operational flow process. Establish & implement standard operating procedures.
Oversee supplier-managed and internal warehouses. Evaluate supplier performance and communicate with cross-functional teams on status.
Lead the RMA, Virtual Return, Self-Warranty, and reverse logistics processes
Influence the hardware replacement cadence. Apply insights and knowledge of constraints in launching new hardware in Data Centers
Manage the lifecycle of servers and network equipment. Analyze the TCO from a financial, operational, and efficiency perspective
Execute the decommission strategy and integrate it into the planning cycle. Execute complex relocation, decommission, and liquidation plans.
Execute and support sourcing of logistics service providers within assigned regions.
Collect business requirements for datacenter and provide support for region’s general sourcing activities
Identify and manage key metrics to track performance and support process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of Supply Chain and Logistics Management experience, 3+ years in large-scaled Program Management.
Experience in sourcing and procurement of data center tools and services.
Familiarity with CMDB, ITAM, or equivalent systems
Experience executing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Experience collaborating with individuals across internal and external organizations, other geographies, and a “hands-on” approach to accomplish all necessary tasks
Self-driven. Adaptive to multi-culture environment
Professional proficiency level is required in English.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA degree
Experience with data center hardware, including servers and network equipment
Analytical skills to query data sources and glean insights from complex data
